Appointment FAQs
Imogen does not infill other lash artist’s work. All new clients must start with a new set of lashes this is because every reputable lash artist has their own way of working and uses their own preferred products.
For Insurance purposes we have a strict no Children Policy at the salon. Please refer to our appointments policy before booking an appointment.
You will be given a consultation before your appointment starts so you can change your mind on the day, Imogen will always tailor styles to suit you.
Lash extensions are semi-permanent meaning infill’s are required every 2-4 weeks depending on your lifestyle and how well you look after them. They always last longer when you follow our aftercare guidelines. You will be given an aftercare card at your appointment and you can also purchase our aftercare products should you wish to do so.
The biggest myth is that lash extensions damage your own lashes. They do not. If applied correctly and professionally they are safe and do not ruin the health of your natural lashes.
Reactions are rare and can show up in different forms. The most common irritations are: swollen eyes/eyelids, redness of the cornea, itchiness or discomfort around the eye area. These symptoms are likely to show up within the first 48 hours post appointment so we always recommend you attend a patch test at least 48hrs before your appointment.
A patch test is required for your first visit for lash extensions and lash lifts no later than 48 hours before your appointment. Patch tests take seconds so just nip into the salon anyime Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. If you do not want a patch test or you don’t have time to come for one then you will be asked to sign a disclaimer at your appointment.
Imogen only uses her own brand iLashedPRO products on all her clients. These are of the highest, professional quality and cruelty free.
All Imogen’s appointments are at The iLashed Academy, 465-467 Blackpool Road, Ashton, Preston PR22LE. Head to the ‘Contact’ page for further details.
The answer is yes. Getting lash extensions or a lash lift while pregnant is perfectly safe, however, you may want to check with your Health Care Professional first.
With the correct aftercare lash lifts should last for 6-8 weeks.
