FAQs

No I’m afraid I do not Infill other lash artist’s work. All new clients must start with a new set.

Infill’s are needed every 2-4 weeks depending on your lifestyle and how well you look after them. For better long-lasting results please follow our aftercare and use your iLashed by Imogen foam cleanser to clean and get rid of any bacteria or oils.

Reactions to lash extensions are rare and can show up in different forms. The most common: swollen eyes/eyelids, redness of the cornea, itchiness or discomfort around the eye area. These symptoms are likely to show up within the first 48 hours post application. I always recommend coming in for a patch test at least 48hrs before your appointment.

You can’t get your eyes wet for the first 24 hours after the initial treatment, when bathing or showering try to avoid excess steam by leaving the door or window open and not having the temperature too hot.

The biggest myth is that lash extensions damage your own lashes. They do not. If applied correctly and properly, they are safe and do not ruin the health of your natural lashes. Be sure not to rub your eyes or tug or pull on the extensions because this can cause lash loss and even damage to your natural lashes.

No! No! No! There are water based mascaras that will not affect your lashes but I do not recommend any type of mascara nor do I think you will need to wear it once you are fully lashed. I would not recommend using strip lashes on top of your extensions either because the glue is impossible to get rid of and will cause your lashes to clump together.

For lash appointments I am home based in Fulwood, Preston and for training days I am Salon based in Lostock Hall, Preston.

An infill is when you have 50% or more lashes left on from your last lash appointment, your lashes are cleaned and groomed and any old or outgrown lashes are removed. We then apply new ones where there has been loss, making them look fresh and full again.

Vegas Wispy’s were created and founded by iLashed by Imogen. They are the wispiest lashes I do, I found that lots of my clients wanted their lashes to look full but wispy. So this is how I came up with these!

Hybrid lashes are a mix of Classic and Russian lashes so are not too natural, and they are not too dramatic.

Classic lashes are more natural looking lashes. Classic lashes are one extension applied to one natural lash only, therefore if you only have 50 suitable natural lashes per eye, then you will only achieve a look of 50 eyelash extensions, whereas if you have 100 natural lashes per eye then you will achieve a look of 100 extensions per eye.

Russian volume is a technique of carefully hand crafting 4-10D super fine lashes to your natural lashes, adding more length, volume and also enhancing the appearance of the eye shape.
