You might be considering your career options or even looking at a complete career change, so now you’re thinking about lash training – its costs and whether it’s worth it.
Lash training is a wonderful opportunity for individuals looking to hone their skills in the art of eyelash extensions or lash lifts.
By taking up a lash lift course or lash artist training, you’ll learn the essential techniques and methods required to create stunning lash designs that enhance your client’s natural beauty.
At the iLashed by Imogen training academy, we’ve seen the difference that expert lash training can make not only to our students’ careers but also to their job satisfaction.
Read on to find out everything you need to know about lashes and professional certification.
Why consider a qualification in lash treatments?
Consider lash training as a gateway to unlocking your full potential in the beauty industry.
Not only will you get the tools you need to expand your skill set and offer more services to your clients, but it will also boost your confidence and credibility as a professional.
Eyelash extensions are not going away anytime soon and neither are last lifts. The demand for long, luscious eyelashes is ever-increasing and so too is the demand for talented lash technicians who do an amazing job every time.
A professional eyelash extension training course should cover these very important aspects of running any beauty or lash business:
- Preparation
- Application
- Lash mapping
- Lash maintenance
- Hygiene
- Health and safety
- Length, style and volume techniques
- Pricing
- Infills
- Removal
- Aftercare
- Social media management
- Brand building
So in answer to the question – Is lash training worth it? Absolutely, it is. But it depends on who you train with. Always be sure to research who you are investing your money and your future career in. Budget courses may be tempting, but it’s a false economy if you don’t come away with the product knowledge and education that you would expect from a professional training course.
You can see that there’s far more to lash training than simply learning about how to apply and remove eyelash extensions. On completion of a professional lash training course, you should be equipped to take your business to the next level.
