Group size: Maximum of 6 students. This is a 3 hour workshop from 10am until 1pm and we will run various dates throughout the year during the School holidays.

Outline: Our workshop is a carefully designed, age appropriate introduction to the lash industry for young people of any gender who are curious, creative and beginning to think about future career options. Designed especially for ages 13-16 this workshop offers a fun, safe and supportive behind the scenes look at the lash business led by one of the industry’s top Master Lash Artists and Educators. Perfect for teens who love beauty and want to plan their future early.

The workshop focuses on:

Learning the basics of lashes and the different styles, trends and mapping

Hands on practice on a mannequin head

Learning about the tools, products and hygiene basics

Learning the basics of social media for business and content creation along with branding

Learning how to take the best lash photos

Confidence building skills

Learning how Lash Artists make money

Q&A’s session where you can ask anything about the industry

Career pathways explained and what happens next when you turn 16

Q&A’s for Parents and Guardians:

Q. Is this an accredited course? No. This is a taster experience designed to educate and inspire. Students can only do accrediated courses when they are 16 as this is the minimum age they can get insured.

Q. Will my child be working on people? No. There are no live models. All practical work is completed on mannequins.

Q. Is parental consent required? Yes. Written parental consent via an email to info@ilashedbyimogen.co.uk is mandatory for all attendees under 16.

Q. Is the environment safe and supervised? Absolutely. Small groups and close supervision are a priority and you are more than welcome to come along. We have a large waiting area at the salon. Imogen is also DBS approved.

Q. What happens if they want to train later? When they turn 16 the £75 is FULLY REFUNDED when booking on to one of our accrediated courses.

Q. Can they attend with their friends? Yes. Group bookings are encouraged and make the experience even more enjoyable!
